''These Are the Good Times People'' is the fifth album by The Presidents of the United States of America. It was released on March 11, 2008. This is their first album to feature Andrew McKeag instead of Dave Dederer on guitbass. - Wikipedia
And the flashback train chugs on. The trio who brought you "Peaches," "Lump" and "Kitty" blaze back as a four-piece, minus founding member Dave Dederer. Dave, you may recall, played "guitbass" (a normal guitar employing just three strings, heavily detuned), whereas chromedome frontman Chris Ballew rocks the "basitar" (a bass with just the top two strings, heavily detuned). We're hoping the new stuff charts, if only because it'll be an indicator of a happier America.
