Born in Catania in southern Italy, Jennifer Bersola, AKA Jenny B, became one of the most popular voices of the Eurodance in the 1990s. For various commercial reasons, she unfortunately was mostly uncredited and was replaced by lip-syncing models on stage and in videos - as she watched songs with her lead vocals rise to the top of the charts. For the past few years, she has been working with producers in Europe, Miami, and New Zealand, where she currently resides, and has been re-recording all the hit songs for the release of a full-length album, finally under her own name to set the record straight. One of the many songs was the 1995 Euro-house hit "Closer To Me," originally released under the moniker "Libra." The new version of the hit song is presented here as one of the first single releases from the long-awaited album featuring 7 exclusive mixes of the track including the original mix, extended mix, club mix plus bonus instrumental and acappella versions.
